The tools we use are simple and free!

 
WINZIP is a program used to "zip up" mutliple files together. When you retrieve your finished work at MediTask, your files are ZIPPED together into one archived "ZIP" file, so that your download invovles only one file, not multiple files (or multiple CLICKS of your mouse!)
If you don't already have WINZIP, download the free evaluation version here.

When installing WinZip, you will be prompted during the setup process to make a few decisions. Please select the following, when given the choice:  

  1. "Start with WinZip Classic"
  2. "Express Setup (recommended)"
  3. "Finish"

Requirements for Using Medi-Task  -   No special knowledge is required.

  1. Computer with internet access
  2. Internet Explorer (or a similiar browser)
  3. Email address and fax machine

DAILY LOGS are provided with every file. This helps your Medical Records Department track incoming transcription at a glance! This simple log gives your personnel a simple and effective way to tell which patients were dictated on, when, and in which file to look.
EASY ONLINE TRACKING You'll be able to track the "life" of your voice files from initial upload to our service, through transcription, Quality Assurance, and your own retrieval time/date. At a glance, you can tell where any dictation is in the MediTask system. No surprises!
ONLINE BOOKKEEPING/INVOICES Easily view and track all your MediTask invoices online. We'll also email or fax you a copy. Your invoice includes line-item audits of every document, sorted and subtotaled by dictator. You may easily post payment information (check number and date mailed).

ONLINE FAXING Choose the report(s) you wish to fax to colleagues or medical facilities by using our simple Date/Dictator/Patient Name filters, fill in Recipient name and fax number, and press "SEND FAXES". What could be easier?

ONLINE PAYMENTS No more stamps or snail-mail! Pay your monthly invoices online with a few clicks of your mouse, and then quickly review your payment history in the Invoices section of our site.
